CLUB ANNIVERSARIES.

On Trinity Tuesday the annual festival of the Friendly Society, whose headquarters are at the Castle Inn, was held, when a capital dinner was provided for the members by Mr. Exton, and a pleasant afternoon was spent by the company.—A similar festival in connection with one of the town societies was held on Wednesday at the Three Cups Inn, Mr. Exell catering for the members. The Malmesbury brass band was in attendance, and paraded the principal streets. During the evening a large company assembled in front of the club house, where dancing was kept up till dark.
