CLUB FESTIVAL.

The members of the Three Cups Inn Friendly Society celebrated their anniversary on Wednesday. The members met at the house of Host Exell, and after the preliminary business of the society was gone through, the members, with their banner and headed by the Malmesbury brass band, in their new uniform, paraded the principal streets of the town. After this they returned to the club room, where a capital dinner was provided by Mr. and Mrs. Exell, to which a goodly number sat down. In the evening the members, headed by the band, marched to Halcombe, the seat of the Mayor (Colonel Luce), where refreshments were provided and dancing was enjoyed for some time on the green sward. The members on their return kept up dancing in the club room to a late hour.
