CLUB FESTIVAL.

The members of the Three Cups Inn Friendly Society celebrated their anniversary on Wednesday. The members met at the house of Host Exell, and after some business was transacted, the members, with their banner, and headed by the Malmesbury brass band, in their new uniform, paraded the principal streets of the town at one o’clock, after which they returned to the clubroom, where a capital dinner was provided by Mr Exell, to which a goodly number sat down. In the evening the members, headed by the band, marched to Halcombe, the seat of the Mayor (Colonel Luce), where refreshments were provided, and dancing kept up for some time on the green sward. The members, on their return, kept up the dancing in the clubroom till a late hour.
